Navarro stepped into the shoes of Dizzy Gillespie in the orchestra of B. Eckstine; Then he played with Charlie Parker, setting an example amongst his colleagues. In spite of his premature death, he proved to be a great musician. He is one of the founders of hard bop trumpet playing. BUY
